ANARCHY IN THE UK!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first Perspectives entry. First of all, you should know that this is going to be the most informal and probably the most honest "article" I'll be writing, so cherish it while it lasts. I just thought that I should give a general idea of what my perspective actually is before I go off on rants about current events. I also figured that this would be easier to write than anything I would need to do research on because I have to work on a final paper for my Management class.

So, I guess I should start off by saying that my name is Michelle Moses. I'm a major-less college student from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jesus Christ is my life. I'm eighteen years old, which I believe would make me the youngest editor here. In many ways, it may also make me the least "politically aware" editor here. You may be asking yourself, why, then, is this ignorant young girl even writing for a political blog? And I'll be honest; I asked myself and Mr. Drzewiecki the same exact question (without using the word ignorant. I mean geez, my self-esteem isn't that low). But, the way I see it is that I'm about as politically aware as the majority of the American population. This puts me far above any politician -- I'm a regular citizen. And last time I checked, America is a country for the people, right?

This regular citizen is a third-party member. That's right folks, I identify with those crazy borderline-Anarchist Libertarians. If you're interested, I've provided some links to information about Libertarianism at the end of the article. Don't tell me that I'm throwing my vote away by voting for a third party, because as far as I'm concerned, if I voted for any party that I didn't fully agree with, I'd be wasting my vote, and I'd rather not vote at all. I'm not going to think about who has a better chance of winning, or who the "lesser of two evils" is, because it is attitudes like that that keep the Democratic Party and Republican Party thriving and doing whatever the heck they want. I'm voting for whom I truly believe would implement the best governmental system. It's that simple.

I'd go more into why I chose to be a Libertarian, on top of being a Christian, but I'm sure I will be doing more of that in the future, and you can get the general idea simply by reading about what Libertarianism is all about so I won't waste your time.

I just want to live in a just, fair, and free world.

Here are some things I'm considering writing about in the future, give me your input...
- The effect drug legalization would have on violence in the USA
- Gun control
- Is a theocracy Biblical?
- What is "Fair Trade" and is a fair economy even possible?
- Long rants about homosexuality and Christianity
- Genocide in Darfur
- Immigration issues and the fence around the border
- The importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- Being pro-life while fighting to keep Abortion legal

Michelle Moses has no credentials whatsoever. She's not white, though, so that must count for something. She can be reached at michellepm@comcast.net

Americans, at the very least, should learn that they aren't being adequately represented by the two-party system.

They'd all be good issues, Michelle.

I wouldn't mind your Gun control and Abortion topics to be brought up. The others would be fine too. :)
