There have been a lot of rising tensions over the immigration debate, especially over the fact that the President essentially tried to sneak some major amnesty under our noses with a completely dishonest speech. What does this mean for public confidence in the Republican party? I think it pretty much killed it.
New projections: Republicans lose BOTH the House and the Senate, albeit barely. McCain still projected over Hilary. Republicans would actually be better off if Bush were impeached at this point.
Also, the public seems to actually be on the Republican's side with the wire-tapping/phone-tapping and CIA nomination... does that mean that we've changed from our pre-9/11 mindset? I'm a little unsure what to make of it.
