Troops in Iraq in response to John Kerry's comments
There's so much to analyze from just this one little ten-second comment; it tells us what John Kerry himself and the Democratic Party really think about the troops and the US military. If one honestly thinks he screwed up a joke about Bush and didn't accidently speak his mind; they are lying to themselves. Kerry meant to say what he said, simply put. John Kerry went into the military to use the experience to launch himself into another career, and his behavior while there is testament to the fact. He didn't join the US military in hopes of winning that conflict; he came back and helped to undermine it.
It's quite funny... the Democrats are trying to muzzle themselves. They don't want their guys speaking in public, portraying who they really are. (These last few days before Nov. 7th) But along comes long-faced John Kerry -- stepping in it again. I'll tell you right now -- there are people in the back rooms of the Democratic Party who are just chomping at the bit to lash into Kerry because he has broken omerta. All year long the Democrats have been campaigning on Iraq, Iraq, Iraq, and how the American people hate it. Now here we are, two weeks before the election, and not even Ned Lament is talking about that.
Liberals and Democrats in this country have long-held contempt for the US military. Think I am lying or just being too partisan? To them, it's the focus of evil in the modern world. Am I wrong? Look at their voting records and their hatred for the good things the military does. John Kerry was in Vietnam; he knows -- he's made a career out of bashing the US military ever since he got out. One of the reasons liberals hate the military is because the military is not big on them. The military people do not have the brilliance and the sophistication to understand just how wonderful Democrats and liberals are, right? ;)
The candidates out there trying to say Kerry is wrong, should apologize, saying he "botched" a joke... should remember that it was only two years ago that they nominated this man for the Democratic candidate for President of the United States. So by that nomination did they not say that this man, Kerry, speaks for the Democratic party?
By the way, John Kerry is suffering another delusion: he's under the impression that he has a legitimate shot to win the 2008 presidential nomination of the Democratic Party. This just probably blows that out of the water don't you think?
There's a huge, silent bloc of military personnel outraged at what they're seeing from not just the media, but the Democratic Party -- and now John Kerry has thrown kerosene on that burning emotional rage. It'll have an impact on the election; you wait and see. John Kerry screwed it up in '04 and seems to want to do a little more of that for his party in '06. Thanks John for the freebie. :)
